Prayagraj Kumbh Mela 2019 has added its name to the Guinness Book of World Records with the largest gathering of people in one place, the largest cleaning campaign and the largest painting program at the public place. The government gave this information on Sunday. “For this, a three-member team of Guinness World Records toured this, a large number of people joined the painting program held from February 28 to March 3 in the presence of four people,” the Ministry of Culture said in a statement.
According to the statement, “On February 28, around 503 buses were on the highway to take these people. Many people joined this program on March 1 and 10,000 workers contributed to clean the Kumbh.
The Kumbh which started on 14 January will end on 4 March with the sixth and final Shahi bath on the occasion of Mahashivaratri.
The Ministry said that more than 22 million pilgrims had taken the dip into Sangam in the last royal baths.
