BPSC Assistant Professor Specialty application form re-opened: The BPSC Assistant Professor (Specialty) application form for 2025 was reopened and the last date to apply online was extended to 15th May 2025 for Advt. No. 04/2025 to 28/2025. This reopening covered 1711 vacancies across various medical specialities in Bihar’s government medical colleges and hospitals.

• Application Window Closes 30 June
• Eligibility: MD/MS/DNB/MDS in the relevant speciality plus 3 years of teaching experience

Application Process

• Register and apply online at the official BPSC website ([bpsc.bihar.gov.in])

• Fill in personal, academic, and experience details

• Upload required documents and pay the application fee (₹100 for General/OBC/EWS, ₹25 for SC/ST/PH/Female of Bihar, plus biometric fee if applicable)

Selection Process

Based on Academic Qualifications, Experience, and Interview (No Written Exam)

• MD/MS/MDS and equivalent speciality qualification recognized by IMC: 10 Marks
• PhD, DM, MCH, and DNB superspeciality in the same speciality: 10 Marks
• Experience in Government Department: 10 Marks Maximum
• Interview: 6 Marks
