What Details Will Be Mentioned on the AIAPGET Scorecard?

Candidates should carefully check all information printed on their scorecard. Based on the AIAPGET result format used by NTA, the result can include details such as:

  • Candidate’s name
  • Application number
  • Course/stream
  • Category
  • PwD status, where applicable
  • Maximum marks
  • Marks obtained
  • Percentile/NTA Score

For example, the official AIAPGET 2025 result document displayed the course, application number, name, gender, category, PwD status, maximum marks, marks obtained, and percentile of candidates.

Marks vs Percentile: What Is the Difference?

This is something many students get confused about. Marks obtained are the marks you actually score in the examination. Percentile indicates your relative performance compared with other candidates. Therefore, two candidates should not judge their standing only by looking at raw marks. For instance, the AIAPGET 2025 result data published by NTA showed candidates with different marks and corresponding percentile scores.

Is AIAPGET Result the Same as Admission?

No. Getting your AIAPGET result or a good percentile does not itself mean that your admission is complete. NTA’s role includes conducting the examination, declaring the result, and providing the All India Rank to the concerned regulatory/admission authorities. The subsequent admission process is handled according to the applicable counselling and seat-allocation rules. So, after checking your result, the next important step is to follow the counselling notification applicable to your course and quota.
