Generally, this process of admission starts in the month of March. As is known that everyone is waiting for the registration process of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to begin. Every year lakhs of applications are submitted for admission in various Kendriya Vidyalayas in the country.

If we go by the media reports, the admission process for the academic session 2020-21 is delayed this time because of uncalled circumstances in the form of Coronavirus.
However, Coronavirus is not the sole reason for its delay, this time some changes were also to be made in the enrollment process in Kendriya Vidyalayas, due to which it has been delayed. Some changes in the guidelines and rules regarding reserved seats were being planned by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. But due to the sudden closure of the school, the notification could not be issued.
Generally, every year the Kendriya Vidyalaya admission is released in the month of February. After this, the application process starts in the month of March.
When this notification be released by April, the nomination process is completed and a new session starts, but this time the process of nomination can go till May-June. According to the information, the notification for admission can be released until the second week of May. The process of admission will be started after the notification is issued.
