NABARD Internship Scheme (SIS) 2025-26: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has Launched the NABARD Internship Scheme (SIS) for the year 2025-26. This is an internship scheme for talented students pursuing post-graduate degrees in Agriculture and Allied disciplines. OR Students pursuing Years Integrated courses completing/Completed Year of their course. Indian Students studying abroad are also Eligible to apply. The Registration Process is ongoing and the last date of online registration is April 07, 2025.
Total Seats
Total number of seats for NABARD SIS 2025- 26. In Which 34 Seats for Regional Offices / TEs and 05 Seats for Head Office. Each RO/ TE will be allocated only 01 seats under SIS 2025-26.
Duration Of Internship
The internship program is scheduled to take place from April 18 to August 31, 2025, providing a duration of approximately 4.5 months. During this period, interns will have the chance to work closely with NABARD professionals, gain hands-on experience, and develop skills and knowledge in areas related to agriculture, rural development, and banking.

Objectives of the Scheme

NABARD Internship Scheme (SIS) 2025-26: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NABARD Internship Scheme (SIS), candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have Post Graduation Degree in Agriculture and allied disciplines (Veterinary, Fisheries, etc.), Agribusiness, Economics, Agri-economics, Social Sciences, and Management from Institutes/ Universities of repute or students pursuing 5 years of integrated courses completing/completed 4th year of their course. Indian students studying abroad are eligible for SIS 2025-26.
- The student applying for internships in a particular state must either pursue their degree from that state or they must belong to that State.
Age Criteria
- Candidates should be between 21 and 30 years old.
Selection Process
- The Selection will be based on the Merit list and the Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks of 10th, 12th, and Graduation degrees.
- The final selection of the students for the internship scheme will be solely on the basis of the interview performance.
