FDST BDS 2025 Exam – The exam date has been released by NBE. The exam will be conducted on 12 January 2025 though the exam date is tentative it may be changed. The qualifying marks is 50 percent in each subject. The screening test is conducted CBT mode.

This exam is conducted for the Indian citizen or person of Indian origin (PIO) or Overseas citizen of India (OCI) who possess the primary dental qualification UG/PG Diploma/Post Graduate Dental qualification awarded by any dental institution outside India. These candidates are desirous of getting registration with any State Dental council or any other purpose as specified by Dental council of India.

The admit card for the exam is released one week or five days before the exam
FDST BDS 2025: Scheme of Examination
The exam consists of two question papers, comprising of 100 and 150 multiple choices, single correct response questions in English language only. 3.2. The examination shall be a multiple-choice question delivered as a Computer Based Test.
The exam is divided into two question papers of 100 and 150 questions with time allocation of 120 minutes and 180 minutes respectively. Candidates are given schedule break between the two papers of two hours.
Negative Marking: No negative marking is available for wrong answer
Each Question carries one mark
Grace Marks – No grace marks. The candidate has to score 50% in each paper individually to qualify for appearing the vivavoce examination.
Viva Voce Examination: 50 Marks. The candidate has to separately score 50% in the viva-voce examination.
Viva Voca: Viva Voca will be conducted after the written exam and there shall be two examiners for Viva-Voce, out of whom, one internal from examining university and one external from any other university. The qualification of examiners appointed for viva-voce for recognition of foreign UG/PG dental qualification would be at par with the qualification prescribed for examiners in the DCI Revised BDS Course Regulations, 2007 and MDS Course Regulations, 2007 and 2017, as amended from time to time. There There are no restrictions on number of attempts that can be availed by a candidate.
