NIMCET 2025 Registration is closing May 16: NIMCET 2025 Notification: The admission for the academic year 2025-26 in NITs has started now. The notification regarding this was started on April 17, 2025, and will continue till May 16 till (at 5:00 pm). The exam will be on June 8, 2025

Step-by-Step Application Process

1. Visit the Official Website
   1. Go to nimcet.admissions.nic.in
2. Register as a New Candidate
   1. Click on the “New Candidate Registration” or “Registration” link.
   1. Enter your basic details: name, date of birth, gender, email ID, and mobile number.
   1. You will receive a mail in your email ID with a link to create your password (check your spam folder if not found)
3. Log in to Fill the Application Form
   1. Use your email ID and the password you set to log inFill in personal, academic, and contact details.
   1. Select your top three preferred exam centres
4. Upload Required Documents
   1. Scanned passport-size photograph
   1. Scanned signature
   1. Proof of identity (like Aadhaar)
   1. Qualifying exam mark sheets (as per official specifications)
5. Pay the Application Fee (Online Only)
   1. General/EWS/OBC: ₹2500
   1. SC/ST/PwD: ₹1250
   1. Payment will be via net banking, credit card, or debit card
6. Final Submission

It is conducted for admission into MCA courses in India for admission in NITs of India. NIT Warangal and NIT Jamshedpur offer a three-year duration MCA program. However, with an option for the students to exit at the end of two successful years. The title of such an exit would be Post-Graduate Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications.

The MCA programme is offered by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, Patna, and Warangal. The admission into the MCA programme for the year 2025-26 in the above 10 NITs is based on the Rank obtained in NIMCET-2025 only.
