Now B.ED will be of one year not for everyone
One Year BEd Course: Now candidate will be able to complete their B.Ed in one year. This change is being made after a gap of 10. Candidates who want to become teacher will get this opportunity to pursue this shortened course.
One Year B.Ed Course: NCTE has announced this. This will be implemented from next session. NCTE has made preparation to release the said policy in March next month.
Who .will be benefitted?
The candidates who do four year UG studies will able to benefit with this. The opportunity will be given to these students to complete their B.Ed in one year. This has been done keeping in New Education Policy 2020 in mind which allows four year UG Degree that also makes you eligible to PhD admission.
Generally B.Ed is a two years course that is to be completed. The UG three years students will have to complete it B.ED in two years. What is a four-year course?
ITEP Integrated Teacher Education Program
This is a four-year course of teacher training, which has been prepared by NCTE. This course was started under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. According to the NCTE Chairman, this course is currently being run in 64 places in the country. With the help of this course, students can do B.Ed in the subject of their choice.
