TANCET & CEETA PG Exam Pattern overview 2025

The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) follows a structured exam pattern for different courses, including MBA, MCA, and M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan programs. The MBA and MCA exams consist of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark, with four alternative answers per question. A negative marking of 1/4th per wrong answer applies, making the total maximum score 100 marks.

For M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan, the exam is divided into three parts: Part I (20 questions, 20 marks), Part II (20 questions, 20 marks), and Part III (60 questions, 60 marks). Like other sections, each question has four alternatives, carries one mark, and follows a 1/4th negative marking scheme
