TG PECET stands for Telangana Physical Education Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance exam for admission into B.P.Ed. (Bachelor of Physical Education) and D.P.Ed. (Diploma in Physical Education) Courses offered by colleges in Telangana.
This exam is conducted every year by Palamuru University, Mahabubnagar, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), Hyderabad.

TG PECET 2025 Sports Courses
- B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education) – 2 Years
This course is for those who have completed graduation and want to become physical education teachers, sports coaches, or trainers. - D.P.Ed (Diploma in Physical Education) – 2 Years
This is a diploma-level course for students who have passed the Intermediate (10+2) and want to start a career in the physical education field.
TG PECET 2025 Sports: Eligibility Criteria

Exam Pattern – No Written Test
TG PECET is not a written exam like other entrance tests. It tests your physical fitness and sports skills. There are two main parts of the test:
Physical Efficiency Test (400 marks)
- Running (100 meters for men/women)
- Long jump or high jump
- Shot put
- The better you perform, the more marks you get.
- Skill Test in Games (100 marks)
- You will be tested in your skill in any one game like Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Badminton, etc.
- There is no written paper and no negative marking.

- Step-1: Open Your Search engine and visit the official website of TG PECET 2025 https://pecet.tsche.ac.in
- Step 2: Click on “Application Fee Payment”
- Step 3: Enter basic details like name, date of birth, mobile number, etc.
- Step-4: Choose the course: B.P.Ed or D.P.Ed
- Step 5: Pay the fee online using Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking.
- Step 6: Pay Application Fee:
- General / OBC – Rs. 900
- SC / ST – Rs. 500

- Step 7: Fill out the Online Application Form
- Enter your educational details
- Upload your passport-size photo and signature (as per size guidelines)
