TNEA Counselling 2026
There is no entrance test for Tamil Nadu students for engineering colleges admission. You must meet the eligibility criteria and get the admission in your desired college. What is the most important part is counselling as the seats is offered through counselling in the state.
Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 is the single-window online counselling process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, for admission to B.E. / B.Tech courses in government, government-aided, and self-financing engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu.

No entrance exam is required — admissions are purely merit-based on Class 12 marks (normalized score out of 200 in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics).
