The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS) for 2025. The notification was released on February 19, 2025, and the examination is scheduled for July 20, 2025.
The deadline for submitting applications is March 11, 2025, by 6:00 PM.

How to apply?
Candidates can apply online by using the website https://upsconline.gov.in. It is essential for the applicant to register himself/herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceeds for filling up the online application for the examination. OTR Profile (Registration) has to be registered only once in life time. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway for filling up the online application for the examination. Pay the Application Fee:
Application Fee
- The application fee is ₹200.
- Fee payment can be made online using net banking, credit card, or debit card.
- Note: Female candidates and those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories are exempted from paying the fee.
- Submit the Application:
- Review all entered information carefully.
- Submit the application before the deadline: March 11, 2025, by 6:00 PM.
- Print Confirmation:
- After submission, print the confirmation page for your records.
Important Points:
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Examination.
- The upper age limit is 32 years as of August 1, 2025, with certain relaxations applicable for specific categories.
- Admit Card:
- E-Admit Cards will be available for download from the UPSC website approximately three weeks before the examination date.
- No physical admit cards will be sent by post.
