UPSC Engineering Services Exam II Schedule

UPSC Engineering Services Exam II Schedule-The UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE/IES) 2025 for the Mains exam has been released by UPSC. It will be conducted in August in the two shift, morning and evening.

Preliminary Examination:

• Date: 8 June 2025 (Sunday)
• Morning Session (9:30 AM – 11:30 AM): General Studies and Engineering Aptitude (Paper I, Objective, 2 hours, 200 marks)
• Afternoon Session (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Discipline-Specific Paper (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecom Engineering; Paper II, Objective, 3 hours, 300 marks).

Mains Examination:

• Date: 10 August 2025 (Sunday)
• Morning Session (9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon): Discipline-Specific Paper I CIVIL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL and ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING {DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC PAPER (PAPER-I)}, 3 hours, 300 marks) 1Timing 9AM to 12 PM
• Afternoon Session (2:30 PM – 5:30 PM): Discipline-Specific Paper II (Conventional/Descriptive). CIVIL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL and ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING {DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC PAPER (PAPER-II)} (CONVENTIONAL, 3 hours duration) (300 Marks)

Key Details:

• The exam is conducted for four branches: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
• Candidates must appear for both Paper I and Paper II in their selected discipline during the Mains.
• The exam is conducted offline (pen and paper mode).
• Admit cards for each stage are released on the official UPSC website before the respective exam dates.
