West Bengal Domicile Criteria for JENPAS UG
Candidates qualify as West Bengal domiciles (required for JENPAS UG eligibility) through either continuous residence or parental residency.
Domicile Qualification Rules
- Residence-based: Must reside continuously in West Bengal for 10+ years as of December 31, 2024. Requires Proforma ‘a1’ (certified by government officials) or ‘a2’ (certified by 10+2 institution head).
- Parent-based: Parents must be permanent West Bengal residents. Requires Proforma ‘b’ (government-certified) or original copies of two parent documents (Voter ID, Aadhaar, Passport, Ration card) showing West Bengal address.
Special Provisions
