UGC NET Exam Cancelled

The Ministry of Education has announced the cancellation of the UGC-NET June 2024 exam due to concerns regarding the integrity of the examination process. A new date for the exam will be scheduled, and the CBI will conduct an investigation into the matter.

In an official statement, the Ministry of Education revealed, "The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination in OMR (pen and paper) mode on June 18, 2024, across various cities nationwide, in two shifts. On June 19, 2024, the UGC received information from the I4C under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

This information prima facie indicates that the integrity of the aforementioned examination may have been compromised

A new examination will be scheduled, with details to be announced separately. Additionally, the matter has been referred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a thorough investigation.
