In a significant move to promote socio-economic development and technological empowerment, the Academy of Maharashtra Research, Upliftment and Training (AMRUT), an autonomous institute under the Government of Maharashtra, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC). AMRUT-C-DAC Scholarship 2025 is a free training course for EWS & Open Category in Maharashtra. This Partnership aims to support capacity building and entrepreneurship development in the information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector by offering sponsored training to eligible youth from the state.

Scheme Overview
Under the scheme titled “औद्योगिक व उच्च कौशल्य विकासासाठी C-DAC संधेमाफत शैक्षणिक वर्ष २०२५–२६ निःशुल्क प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम“ (Ref: AMRUT/आस्था/2025-26/ dated 19 May 2025), course fee sponsorships will be offered to eligible candidates enrolling in select Post Graduate Diploma (PG-Diploma) Courses offered by C-DAC for the August 2025 batch.

AMRUT-C-DAC Scholarship 2025: Courses and Number of Sponsored Seats
The scheme covers 120 fully-sponsored seats across six premier PG-Diploma programs conducted physically at C-DAC centres and Authorised Training Centres (ATCs) located in Karad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Navi Mumbai, and Pune.

AMRUT-C-DAC Scholarship 2025: Eligibility Criteria
To avail this sponsorship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Domicile: Must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
- Category: Must belong to the Open Category and be classified under Economically Weaker Section (EWS) with valid proof (annual income below ₹8 lakh).
- Age: Must not be older than 35 years as of May 27, 2025.
- Educational Qualification: Must satisfy the academic and marks-based eligibility as prescribed in C-DAC’s official Admission Booklet for the August 2025 batch.
- C-CAT Requirement: The applicant must have:
- Appeared for the C-CAT (C-DAC’s Common Admission Test).
- Obtained a valid rank (A+B or A+B+C based on the course).
- Received an official Admission Offer Letter from C-DAC for one of the eligible courses.

- School/College Leaving Certificate (LC/TC) with category mentioned
- Birth Certificate / Government-issued age proof

Sponsorship Coverage and Conditions
- The sponsorship covers the full course fee (inclusive of taxes) payable directly to C-DAC Pune.
- No additional amount or reimbursement (travel, accommodation, etc.) will be provided to students.
- Students cannot request refunds or redirections of the sponsorship under any circumstances.
- AMRUT holds the authority to accept, reject, or withdraw the scholarship at any stage based on its discretion.
AMRUT-C-DAC Scholarship 2025: Caution Deposit
All selected candidates must deposit an interest-free caution money of ₹10,000 + GST, as per the C-DAC Admission Booklet, which is refundable upon:
- Maintaining a minimum of 85% attendance.
- Appearing for the CCEE (Course-end Evaluation Exam) in the same batch.
This deposit may be forfeited in cases of:
- Property damage at the training centre.
- Disciplinary violations.
Refunds will be processed within 15 working days after the course concludes and submission of the clearance form.
