JEE Main 2026 Syllabus is based on the latest NCERT curriculum for Classes 11 and 12, as prescribed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The syllabus is slightly revised compared to previous years, with most changes already reflected in the official 2025 document. The syllabus covers three core subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and is applicable for both Paper 1 (BE/BTech) and Paper 2 (BArch/BPlan). The official JEE Main 2026 syllabus will be published on the NTA website; until then, students should follow the present structure for preparation.

JEE Main 2026 Syllabus Paper 2: BArch (2A) and BPlan (2B)
BArch (Paper 2A)
- Mathematics: Same as for Paper 1.
- Aptitude Test: Awareness of people, places, buildings, and materials, visual and spatial ability, texture and objects, analytical reasoning, mental ability, and architectural awareness.
- Drawing Test: Drawing and designing of geometrical or abstract shapes, sketching, and understanding of scale and proportion.
BPlan (Paper 2B)
- Mathematics: Same as for Paper 1.
- Aptitude Test: Same as for BArch.
- Planning-Based Questions: General knowledge, social sciences, and urban planning knowledge relevant to planning as a career.
Additional Notes
- The NTA is expected to release the official, detailed JEE Main 2026 syllabus PDF in late 2025. Until then, aspirants are advised to prepare using the above structure based on the NCERT Books and the existing 2025 syllabus, as changes for 2026 are likely to be minimal
