Norcet 9 Mains Exam dates: Who will qualify? Yes, the mains exam date has been released by AIIMS along with the application form. It is important to note that the AIIMS preliminary exam is qualifying in nature and not included in preparing the final merit list. You have to score only passing marks in this exam.
Reason for Rejection and Status of Application
The facility is open to candidates who require correction status in registration or completion of the application form; it is available only for those candidates who have made payment. The Edit window will open from 22 August to 28 August. Further correspondence will not be entertained by AIIMS in this regard. It is important to note that a change in the reservation categories applied is not allowed once you have submitted the application fee. There will be a cancellation of the application in case of incorrect information.

The AIIMS NORCET 9 Main Exam is on 27 September 2025. The recruitment process for Nursing Officers at AIIMS comprises two stages:

- Preliminary Exam: 14 September 2025
- Main Exam: 27 September 2025
Exam Pattern for NORCET 9 Main Exam
- Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Total Questions: 160 Multiple-Choice Questions
- Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours)
- Syllabus: Only Nursing Course (unlike the prelims, which also includes General Knowledge & Aptitude)
- Sections: 4 sections, each with 40 questions
- Types of Questions: Includes MCQs, image-based, video-based, and priority-based questions
- Marking Scheme: +1 mark for correct answer, -1/3 mark for incorrect answer

Qualifying Marks: The qualifying (percentage) marks in the NORCET Examination will be 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC, and 40% for SC & ST.
Merit List of qualified candidates will be on the basis of the performance in CBT as per the qualifying criteria in Stage II NORCET Mains only. If a CBT examination is conducted in multiple shifts, the respective normalisation procedure at AIIMS published vide Notice No. 35/2023 dated 20.01.2023 shall be applicable
