DUSU Election 2025 committee formed for prevention of wall defacement: The DUSU election 2025 will take place shortly after the admission process is over. The advisory has been issued in advance to prevent defacement of walls in the city and around colleges. It is by the order of the Delhi High Court in the Prashant Manchanda case that the Delhi High Court has clearly instructed the University to stop defacing of wall during the DUSU election.
In the year 2024, during the DUSU election campaign, various candidates defaced the wall of the city, and it looked like it was not a university-level election but the Delhi Assembly election. The matter reached the court, and the result of the election was deferred until the wall is cleaned. Metro pillars were most affected. The committee has been formed at the college level to oversee this activity.
