TN TET 2025 application form opened: The application process has started for the Tamil Nadu TET exam 2025. The exam will be in November 2025. The Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025 recruitment is out. The online registration is open from August 11 to September 8, 2025, with Paper 1 scheduled for November 1 and Paper 2 for November 2, 2025.
The candidates who appear in the Paper I and Paper II have to secure a minimum mark to be eligible for the TET certificate. We have given at the bottom of this article the details for a minimum mark.
Application Dates: August 11, 2025 (start) to September 8, 2025 (end).
Exam Dates: Paper 1 – November 1, 2025; Paper 2 – November 2, 2025 (tentative).
Conducting Body: Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TNTRB).

Eligibility Criteria:
For Paper 1 (Primary teachers): Diploma in Teacher Education or equivalent, or graduation with D.El.Ed/BTC/B.Ed; final-year D.Ed students are also eligible.
For Paper 2 (Upper Primary teachers): Graduation in relevant subjects plus B.Ed or Diploma in Elementary Education; final-year B.Ed students may apply.
Minimum age: 18 years as of July 1, 2025; no upper age limit.
TN TET 2025 Application Form Opened: Important Points
The candidates who have passed D.T.Ed../D.El.Ed. from States other than Tamil Nadu should submit an evaluation certificate to the Teachers Recruitment Board for the issue of TET certificate.
ii. A Diploma in Teacher Education recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However, in the case of Diploma in Education (Special Education), a course recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered. (as per para 2 NCTE notification dated 23.08.2010
Application Fee: ₹600 for unreserved/OBC, ₹300 for SC/ST.
