Eligibility

What is eligibility to appear for the CMAT 2026. There is no special education required here only the candidate must meet the following eligibility criteria

  • You are Indian citizens.
  • Candidate with a bachelor’s degree of minimum three years or four years duration or equivalent in any stream from a recognised university or AICTE-approved institute.
  • Appearing candidates in the final year of their bachelor’s degree can also apply, provided their result will be declared before the academic year begins.
  • There is no minimum score required to apply for CMAT, but most participating colleges require a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation (45% for reserved categories).
  • You should be at least 18 years and no upper age restriction.
  • Reservation policies for admission are as per Government of India norms including SC (15%), ST (7.5%), OBC Non-Creamy Layer (27%), General (50.5%), and PwD (5% in each category).
  • PwD candidates with 40% or more disability can avail certain facilities like scribe/reader during the exam with proper certificates.
