Civil Service Mains result out, do this step to save from disqualification
Congratulation to those candidates who have cleared the UPSC Civil Service Mains exam held in August 2025. These candidates will appear for Personality Test or Interview on the dates released by the UPSC.
The result says 2862 candidates qualified for the Interview or personality test. Total number of available vacancies is 1129

Before appearing for the Personality test or Interview candidates have to complete the following process otherwise they will not be considered for the personality test or Interview
All candidates are required to fill, update, and submit the necessary details online exclusively through the Union Public Service Commission website (https://upsconline.gov.in)
Date 13th November 2025 to 27th November 2025 by 6:00 PM.
If you fail to complete this process within the stipulated timeframe will result in no further communication from the Commission regarding this matter.
Candidates who have already uploaded the required documents and information but do not need to make any changes must still log in, verify their details, and submit the form to generate their e-summon letter for the Personality Test.
UPSC Civil Service Interview Choice of Service Selection
Upon successful submission of the Online Application Form (OAF), a unique reference number will be out and sent to the candidate’s registered email and mobile number for acknowledgement.
Candidates wishing to apply for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) or Indian Police Service (IPS) must indicate their cadre preference as instructed by the Commission during the process and in the prescribed manner.
Candidates must carefully select their service or post preferences, keeping in mind the relevant rules.

It is important to note that under the current Cadre Allocation Policy for the Civil Services Examination 2025, candidates who opt for IAS or IPS must indicate their cadre preferences according to the Commission’s guidelines.
E Summon Letter
The e summon letter will be out for the candidate to appear in Personality test or Interview on the official website of UPSC. The Venue is Dholpur House,Shahjahan Road New Delhi
