The Council of Science & Technology, Uttar Pradesh invites online submission of R&D project proposals aimed at promoting research in the fields of Basic and Applied Sciences, Engineering, and Technology for the overall advancement of Science and Technology in the state. Scientists and faculty members working in Universities, Colleges, Engineering Institutions, R&D Centres, Medical Colleges, and other recognized scientific organizations located in Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply.
Financial assistance will be provided to selected research schemes based on their relevance to the state’s scientific and technological needs. You can submit the proposal hrough the official web-portal https://cst.up.gov.in on the following dates

Score of Support
The scope of support from the Council of Science & Technology, Uttar Pradesh includes funding for research personnel, consumables, contingencies, travel, minor equipment, and prototype fabrication. However, support or grants are not provided for major equipment and office equipment. The institute allows Investigators to submit only one proposal at a time. Each proposal must clearly define the end objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Projects are typically sanctioned for a period of 2 to 3 years.
