It is a government recruitment drive by West Bengal Health Recruitment Board (WBHRB) to fill Medical Technologist Grade III posts in various lab specialties.

WBHRB Medical Technologist Lab Eligibility

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or an equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and will upload their Mark Sheet(s), including any supplementary mark sheets, along with the passing certificate of the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the designated space provided for this purpose.

Candidates should create a single PDF file that contains all the Mark Sheet(s), including any supplementary mark sheets, and the passing certificate for the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and upload this document in the “Upload Marksheet” section.

Marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology will be there to calculate the percentage of marks for the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination. Therefore, candidate will calculate the total marks obtained in these three subjects and enter the sum in the “Marks Obtained” field. In the “Full Marks” field, candidates should fill in the total maximum marks of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (as shown in the mark sheet) for the Higher Secondary (10+2) qualification or its equivalent.

Additionally, a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology in the relevant subject from any Institution or University by the Government of West Bengal is required.

Candidates possessing Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology in the concerned subject (Lateral entry) from any institution/ University recognized by Govt. of West Bengal after completion of Two years Diploma in Medical Technology in the concerned subject recognized by the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal under West Bengal Para Medical Council/conducted by any recognized institution affiliated to any recognized University:

Candidates will appear for the written or CBT test that will be taking place by WBHRB. Candidate will get the intimation regarding this. The exam includes your knowledge of the subject and GK, GS and last qualifying questions

WBHRB Medical Technologist Lab Admit Card 2025

The admit card will be released for the entrance test that will take place. Generally the admit card releases 10 days before the exam. Candidates will get information about this. The Admit Card carries your personal details such as your name,photograph,DOB,Parents name,Exam Centre Name,Exam Date, Reporting time at the centre
