KCET 2026 Physics Syllabus
- 1st PUC: Physical World, Units & Measurements, Motion in Straight Line/Plane, Laws of Motion, Work/Energy/Power, Systems of Particles/Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Mechanical Properties of Solids/Fluids, Thermal Properties/Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory, Oscillations, Waves.
- 2nd PUC: Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects, EMI & AC, EM Waves, Ray/Dual Nature Optics, Atoms/Nuclei, Semiconductors.
Chemistry Syllabus
- 1st PUC: Basic Concepts, Atomic Structure, Periodic Classification, Chemical Bonding, States of Matter, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Redox, Hydrogen, s/p-Block, Organic Basics, Hydrocarbons, Environmental Chemistry.
- 2nd PUC: Solid State, Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, General Principles/Isolation, p/d/f-Block, Coordination Compounds, Haloalkanes/Alcohols, Aldehydes/Phenols, Biomolecules, Polymers.
KCET 2026 Mathematics Syllabus
- 1st PUC: Sets/Relations/Functions, Trigonometry, Algebra (Sequences, Binomials), Coordinate Geometry, Calculus (Limits/Derivatives).
- 2nd PUC: Relations/Functions, Inverse Trig, Matrices/Determinants, Continuity/Differentiation, Applications of Derivatives, Integrals/Applications, Differential Equations, Vectors/3D Geometry, Probability.
Biology Syllabus (PCB Courses)
- 1st PUC: Diversity in Living World, Structural Organization (Animals/Plants), Cell Structure/Function, Plant Physiology, Human Physiology.

KCET 2026 Exam Pattern
- KCET 2026 follows an offline pen-and-paper exam pattern with multiple-choice questions across Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (for engineering), or Biology (for pharma/agri courses). Each subject has 60 questions worth 1 mark each, totaling 180 marks, with no negative marking.
