NCHM JEE 2026 application form : The application process started today for NCHM JEE 2026. The exam will be conducted in April 2026. NCHMCT JEE 2026: The application form opened today 26 December and exam in April 2026 for Hotel Management Entrance Exam

NTA is responsible for conducting this examination every year. It is a national-level examination.The exam is conducted in more than 90 cities at 118 centres. More than 11,000 candidates took the exam in the year 2025. The admission is offered into 3 3-year B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Administration course through this exam. The application process of NCHMCT JEE is expected to start from December, those who want to make career in hotel and hospitality sector can apply now

It is the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination for admission to BSc Hospitality & Hotel Administration programs at NCHM-affiliated institutes. Registration begins in the second week of December 2025, with the exam tentatively in the second week of 25 April 2026 as a 2-hour online CBT.​

The seats will be distributed through counselling process.

NCHMJEE 2026 Eligibility

A candidate should have passed 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects, from a recognized Educational Board. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination. 

Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in NCHM JEE 2023 on provisional basis.

 Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30.09.2023. 

List of examinations equivalent to 10+2: 

  • Plus two level examination in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education and Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or State Boards of Secondary Education.
  • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. 
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level. 
  • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University. 
  • Any Public School / Board / University Examination in India or in a foreign country recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) / Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary Education.
  • Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) as well as State Board of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects including English as one of the Subjects 
  • H.S.C. Vocational Examination approved by NCVT and SCVT of concerned State/UT

Age Limit

  • For the General, General (EWS) and OBC categories, the upper age limit is 25 years. Candidates born on or after July 01, 1996 are eligible
  • For  Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates and Physically challenged candidates, the upper age limit is 28 years. That is SC/ST and Physically challenged candidates born on or after July 01, 1993, are eligible.

NCHM JEE 2026 Syllabus Overview

  1. Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude
    • Topics include fractions, decimals, time & distance, elementary mathematics, ratio & proportion, number systems, work & wages, compound interest, square roots, simplification, profit & loss, areas & volumes, percentage, logarithms, averages, speed, and more.
  2. Reasoning and Logical Deduction
    • Topics include analytical reasoning, statement conclusions, syllogisms, blood relations, linear and complex arrangements, series, coding-decoding, direction and distance, data interpretation, and visual ability.
  3. General Knowledge & Current Affairs
    • Topics include world organizations, awards and honors, inventors and inventions, sports, disasters, fashion events, natural calamities, solar system, statistical data, languages, currencies, and famous personalities.
  4. English Language
    • Topics include vocabulary, grammar, synonyms, antonyms, sentence formation, idioms and phrases, paragraph formation and completion, sentence rearrangement, spelling, and one-word substitutions.
  5. Aptitude for Service Sector
    • Focus on aptitude required for the hospitality and service sector including customer service skills and related knowledge.

NCHM JEE 2026 Step-by-Step Application Guide

  1. Visit nchmjee.nta.nic.in and click “New Registration”.​
  2. Enter personal details (name, DOB, email, mobile) to get an application number.​
  3. Fill academic, contact, and exam preferences in the form.​
  4. Upload scanned photo (10-200 KB, JPG) and signature (4-30 KB, JPG).​
  5. Pay fee online: ₹1,000 (General/OBC), ₹500 (SC/ST/PwD/Female) via card/UPI/net banking.​
  6. Select exam city and submit; download confirmation for records.​

NCHM JEE 2026 Result

The result will be out in the May second week on the official website of the NTA. If there is a tie in the score following will be accepted

The candidate securing higher marks in the English component of the NCHM-JEE will get higher rank.
ii) If the tie persists, the candidate securing higher marks in the Service Aptitude component of the NCHM-JEE
will get higher rank.
iii) If the tie still remains unresolved, the candidate who is older in age will get higher rank.

NCHM JEE 2026 Counselling

The result for the NCHM JEE 2026 will be out in May and counselling process will start in the first week of June 2026. There will be three round of counselling. NCHM JEE counselling for B.Sc. HHA admissions follows a structured online process across three rounds based on All India Ranks from the exam, conducted via nchmcounselling.nic.in. Candidates must register with a non-refundable fee of ₹2,000 to participate. The process emphasizes merit-cum-preference for seat allotment in affiliated institutes

NCHMCT reserves seats in its affiliated Government Institutes for the B.Sc. (HHA) programme as per Government of India policy, based on NCHM JEE merit lists.

PwD Reservation

PwD candidates receive 5% horizontal reservation within each category above, requiring 40%+ disability per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and capability for practical tasks.

NCHM JEE 2026 First Counselling

Candidates allotted a seat in the first round must confirm it by paying the ₹20,000 Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) and uploading required documents for online verification at the Document Verification Centre (DVC). This SAF forms part of the first semester fee and transfers to the final allotted institute.

Candidates allotted a seat in the first round who fail to pay the SAF within the specified schedule will have their seat automatically cancelled. They remain eligible to participate in subsequent rounds for available vacant seats.
