NERIST NEE counselling required certificates
Certificate Requirements
Applicants claiming Persons with Disabilities (PD) seats must present an original certificate from a Medical Board (at Special Employment Exchange/Vocational Rehabilitation Center or district level, including an orthopedic surgeon/specialist) during counseling/admission. Failure to provide it results in candidature rejection.
PRC and Category Certificates
Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) holders submit originals issued by the Deputy Commissioner or authorized revenue officer, with seal, signature, date, name, and officer seal. ST/SC/OBC certificates require originals from district competent authorities in prescribed format; OBC needs additional Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate valid up to admission date.
Additional Certificates
Non-PRC state quota applicants from eight North Eastern States provide relevant originals from district authorities. Government Employee Certificate (GEC) from parent’s/guardian’s employer, and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificates per GoI format (Annexure-II) from district administration, all require originals for verification.
