Eligibility Criteria (as on January 1, 2026)
Age
- 21 to 35 years (relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per government rules)
- Educational Qualification:
- Development Assistant: Candidates have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Percentage: at least 50% marks in aggregate (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen). Knowledge of word processing on PC.
- Development Assistant (Hindi): Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects (or main subjects) with at least
- Percentage: 50% marks (pass class for reserved categories). Must be proficient in translation between English and Hindi, plus PC knowledge.

Selection Process
- Phase 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type, online)
- Phase 2: Main Examination (Descriptive/Objective mix)
- Phase 3: Language Proficiency Test (for Hindi post, if applicable)
- Final selection based on merit, followed by document verification and medical exam.
