NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate) is the single national‑level entrance exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and other undergraduate medical and health‑science courses in India. It’s conduct once a year by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
NEET UG Conducts at different locations throughout the country (552 Cities) and abroad (13 Cities) in the first week of May, the first Sunday from 02:00 to 05:00 p.m. in Pen and Paper mode.

Important Points
The medium of the question paper must choose carefully while filling the NEET (UG) 2026 Application Form, as the selected medium cannot change later.
Applicants opting for English will receive the Test Booklet in English medium only. Candidates opting for Hindi will be provided a bilingual Test Booklet in English and Hindi.
Candidates opting for any Regional Language (from the 13 listed languages) will receive the Test Booklet in English + the selected Regional Language (for example, if a candidate chooses Tamil, the booklet will be in English + Tamil).
In case there is any ambiguity or discrepancy in the translation of a question in the question paper, the English version shall treate as final, and the decision of NTA on such matters shall be final.
NEET UG Basic Eligibility Criteria

NEET UG Admit card
The admit card is out a few days before the exam. The exam will be on the first Sunday of May. You will be able to download your admit card from the official website. NTA does not send any personal admit card to the candidates. You will get an intimation to download the admit on your mail.
Answer key NEET UG
The answer key is out after the exam is over. NTA allows you to challenge the answer key if you are not satisfy with any question & ansewr key.
Fee for NEET UG
NTA will charge a fee for challenging the answer key. You get two days to challenge the answer key.
NEET UG Answer key Timeline
The answer key generally releases 20 to 25 days after the exam is over. It is important that there is no dispute in conducting the NEET UG exam. If any such incident happens, the answer key release delay.
