The application form will start 11 February on Wedesday. The AIBE 20(XX) just concluded after declaration of result in January 2026

The application form started today, February 11, 2026, as per the official schedule released by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

How you will apply?

Candidates will log on  to the homepage → Look for the “Registration for AIBE XXI” or “AIBE 21 Registration” link/button (it should now be live since registration opened February 11 today).

  • Candidate must note that whole process is online right from opening of application form, releasing admit card and your result..

AIBE 21 2026 Important Dates

  • Registration start date — February 11, 2026 (today)
  • Last date to submit application form — April 30, 2026
  • Last date for online fee payment — May 1, 2026 (usually one day after form submission closes)
  • Application form correction window — It opens to correct the details if mentioned inadvertently last date 3 May
  • Exam date — June 7, 2026 (offline, pen-and-paper / OMR-based)

Admit Card

The admit card releases on 22 May 2026 on the official website of AIBE 2026. No personal admit card will be sent to the candidates

AIBE 21/XXI Eligibility

Law degree of 5 years or LLB three years

Candidates who were not qualified in the AIBE 20 (20). At least 77,579 not qualified the AIBE 20

Appearing Candidates- The canddiates appearing in the their Final-year/final-semester LL.B students (without backlogs) from BCI-recognized universities can apply (as per recent Supreme Court/BCI directions). Even those who passed LL.B but haven’t enrolled or surrendered enrollment can apply with a self-attested undertaking.

Exam syllabus — Includes new criminal laws (BNS, BNSS, BSA) replacing old IPC, CrPC, Evidence Act — prepare accordingly.

How to Fill the AIBE 21 Application Form (Step-by-Step)

  1. Visit https://www.allindiabarexamination.com/
  2. Click on the AIBE XXI Registration or New Registration link.
  3. Register yourself by entering basic details:
    • Full name
    • Mobile number
    • Email ID
    • Create a password (You’ll receive login credentials via SMS/email.)
  4. Log in using your credentials.
  5. Fill the application form with:
    • Personal details such as your name, parents’ names,Date of Birth
    • Educational qualifications (LL.B details, Integrated Law 5 years
    • Enrollment details (State Bar Council enrollment number — if already enrolled; final-year students without enrollment can apply with an undertaking)
    • Category (General/SC/ST/OBC etc.)
    • Exam city- you can choose your exam city from where you want to take exam
  6. Upload required scanned documents (in specified format & size):
    • Photograph (recent passport-size)
    • Signature
    • Enrollment certificate (if enrolled) or undertaking (for final-year/final-semester students or those yet to enrol)
    • ID proof
    • Category certificate (if applicable)
  7. Pay the application fee online (net banking, card, UPI etc.):
    • General/OBC — Usually ₹3,500–₹3,560 (including bank charges)
    • SC/ST — Usually ₹2,500–₹2,560 (check exact amount on portal)
    • PwD — Often exempted or reduced
  8. Submit the form and download/print the confirmation page for records.
  • Advice — Apply early to avoid last-minute server issues. Double-check all details before final submission, as corrections have a limited window.
  • Keep checking the official website for any last-minute notices or changes.
