AIIMS NORCET 8 Exam Pattern Explained 2025
AIIMS NORCET Prelims Exam – The NORCET exam pattern consists of two stages: Prelims and Mains. The Prelims exam comprises 100 multiple-choice questions, divided into 5 sections of 20 questions each. The total marks allocated are 100, and the exam duration is 18 minutes per section, totaling 90 minutes. For every correct answer, 1 mark is awarded, while 1/3rd marks are deducted for each incorrect response.
AIIMS NORCET Mains Exam – The Mains exam features 160 multiple-choice questions, also divided into 5 sections. The total marks are 160, and the exam duration is 180 minutes. Similar to the Prelims exam, the Mains exam also follows the same marking scheme, with 1 mark awarded for each correct answer and 1/3rd marks deducted for each incorrect response. The question paper is in English for both exams.
