The Andhra Pradesh NEET UG counselling 2025 will start soon. Though the dates have not been released yet. Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2025 is conducted by Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences (YSRUHS), Vijayawada for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the 85% state quota seats in the state. Only candidates who are AP state domiciles and have qualified for NEET UG 2025 are eligible to participate.
Key Dates & Schedule (As of July 18, 2025)
- State Merit List (Rank-wise Qualified List): Released July 7, 2025
- Registration Start (Expected): Second week of August 2025
- Last Date for Registration: To be notified; generally within one week of opening
- Document Verification: Follows registration, usually mid to late August
- Choice Filling & Seat Locking: Opens after the provisional list is out
- AP NEET 1st Round Allotment: Expected late August 2025
- Further Rounds (2, 3, Stray Vacancy): Through September 2025 for remaining seats

Andhra Pradesh NEET UG counselling 2025 Process Overview
- Online Registration:
Register at the YSRUHS portal by uploading the required academic and personal details, and NEET result details. - Payment of Counselling Fee:
- General/OBC: ₹3,540
- SC/ST/PH: ₹2,950
(Non-refundable; additional tuition fees may be necessary for private college seats.)
- Document Upload:
Upload NEET admit card & scorecard, class 10th & 12th certificates, AP domicile certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), passport photo, etc. - Publication of State Merit List:
Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria are featured by NEET rank. - Choice Filling & Locking:
Candidates submit preferred college/course choices online. - Seat Allotment:
Based on NEET rank, preferences, category/reservation, and seat availability. - Reporting & Admission:
Report in person at the allotted college with certificates for verification and pay tuition fees.
Important Points
- Only AP state domicile candidates are eligible for the 85% state quota counselling.
- All India Quota (15% of seats) is handled by MCC and is a separate process.

All government and private medical and dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh participate in this process.
