AP PGECET 2026 notification has been out today along with other entrance exam AP PGECET 2026 stands for Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test 2026. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admission to postgraduate courses like:

  • M.Tech / M.E.
  • M.Pharmacy
  • Pharm.D (Post Baccalaureate)

in universities and affiliated colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

The exam is organized by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education).

APSCHE has already released the exam dates for AP PGECET 2026 (for academic year 2026-27). AP PGECET 2026 Eligibility Criteria (expected – same as previous years unless changed)

  • Nationality: Indian citizen
  • Educational Qualification:
    • For M.Tech/M.E.: B.E./B.Tech in relevant branch (minimum 50% aggregate – 45% for reserved categories)
    • For M.Pharmacy: B.Pharmacy degree
    • For Pharm.D (PB): B.Pharmacy
  • Appearing candidates in final year are also eligible.
  • GATE / GPAT qualified candidates may get direct admission / preference in some seats (check notification for exact rules).

Exam Pattern

  • Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Questions: 120 multiple-choice questions
  • Marks: 120 (1 mark each, no negative marking in recent years)
  • Syllabus: Based on the qualifying degree subjects + some analytical ability & general awareness (varies by branch)

Application Process (when it starts)

  1. Visit cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/PGECET
  2. Register with mobile number, email, etc.
  3. Fill personal, academic & branch details
  4. Upload photo, signature & certificates
  5. Pay fee online:
    • General / BC: ≈ ₹1,000–1,200
    • SC/ST: ≈ ₹500–600
  6. Submit and take printout
