AP TET 2025 Educational Qualification
- For Paper 1 (Primary Teachers for Classes 1-5):
| Intermediate (10+2) or Senior Secondary with at least 45-50% marks. |
| Pass in or pursuing final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). |
| Alternatively, B.Sc., B.A., or B.Com. graduates with pass or pursuing final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. |
| Candidates with a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) with at least 45% marks are also eligible. |
| Relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks is given to SC/ST/Disabled candidates as per government norms. |
B. For Paper 2 (Upper Primary Teachers for Classes 6-8):B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com. graduates with at least 45% marks and pass or pursuing the 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or B.Ed (Special Education). Candidates with a post-graduation degree in the relevant subject or language are also eligible. Relaxations in qualifying marks of 5% as applicable to reserved categories.
AP TET 2025 Age Criteria
- The minimum age to apply is 18 years, with no upper age limit.
- Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of the above-mentioned qualifications can apply.
AP TET 2025 Examination Fee
Candidates must pay Rs. 1000/- for each paper (Paper-1A, Paper-1B, Paper-2A, and Paper-2B) separately.

Step-1: Visit the official AP TET website: aptet.apcfss.in or tet2dsc.apcfss.in.
Step-2: On the homepage, click on the “Apply Online” link for AP TET 2025.
Step-3: Register as a new user by providing personal details like name, date of birth, Aadhaar number, mobile number, and email ID. Create a username and password.
Step-4: After registration, log in using your credentials and fill in the application form carefully with required details such as educational qualifications, exam preferences (Paper 1 for Classes 1-5 and Paper 2 for Classes 6-8), and exam center choice.
Step-5: Upload scanned documents including a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and any other required certificates following the specified format and size.
Step-6: Pay the application fee of Rs. 1000 for each paper online through available payment modes. Keep the payment receipt for records.
Step-7: Preview all filled details thoroughly before final submission. Once submitted, changes may not be allowed.
Step-8: After submission, download and print the confirmation page and the completed application form for future reference.

- The APTET October 2025 exam will be held online in all district headquarters, municipalities, revenue divisions, and mandals across Andhra Pradesh.
- If needed (depending on the number of candidates or subjects), exam centers may also be set up in neighboring districts or nearby states.
- Candidates will get a chance to choose their preferred district for the exam through the APTET official website.
- But the final decision about the exam center will be made by the department, and no requests for changing the exam center or exam session will be accepted under any condition.
