What is BISAG-N?

• BISAG-N works in areas of space applications and geo-informatics. This means they use satellite data, mapping tools, location technology, and computers to help in areas like weather, agriculture, education, etc.

Who are they looking for?

They want Young Professionals, on contract, for two levels:

1. Young Professional-II (often written as Young Professional-2) – 90 positions.
2. Young Professional-I (often Young Professional-1) – 10 positions.

BISAG-N will hire 100 Young Professionals in total (90 for Level II and 10 for Level I).

• Minimum age: 22 years
• Maximum age: 26 years
• The calculation of your age is as on the last date of submission of the application.

What is the contract period For BISAG-N Young Professional Recruitment 2025?

• Initial contract will be for one year.
• They can extend it up to 4 more years, but BISAG-N depends on the following factors for each year’s extension:
• The need of BISAG-N for your services, and
• Your performance (you must work well, consistently).

Other Important Rules

• BISAG-N deducts Income Tax or any other applicable tax, as per Indian law, from the payments before disbursing them to you.
• The working hours will be the same as other regular employees at BISAG-N. Working extra hours won’t give extra benefit (i.e. no overtime pay).
• BISAG-N may automatically terminate the contract of anyone who is absent without a valid reason for 8 continuous days from the project or work.

What about leave, attendance, days, and conduct?

• BISAG-N expects you to follow their attendance policy.
• The working days and hours are same as other staff (regular working schedules).
• BISAG-N gives leaves to Young Professionals equivalent to those given to contractual employees (details like number of days follow BISAG-N’s rules).
• You must follow rules about behaviour, especially:Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013. This means there must be no harassment, and BISAG-N has legal obligation to prevent such things.
• You must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or declaration of secrecy. You must not share any work or information you receive publicly. You must follow standards of conduct, including behaviour, ethics, and rules.If you break them, BISAG-N may terminate your contract, even without advance notice.

• There will be a form on the website which you fill out.
• It’s important to submit the form before the last date, which is 17 October 2025.
• BISAG-N posts any changes or updates (corrigendum/addendum) only on their website. So you should check the website regularly.

Things to keep ready when applying

To avoid problems, you should prepare these ahead:

• Your degree certificate (BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech) showing marks, field of study etc.
• Proof of age (birth certificate, school certificate)
• Any certificates of prior work or internships (if required) – although eligibility is based mainly on education and marks.
• Identity proof (Aadhaar, voter ID, passport etc.).
• Ensure your marks are at least 60%. If you have grade-points, be ready to convert as needed.
• A valid email, phone number etc., because communication will likely be through these.

Duties, Performance, and How Extensions Work

• You are expected to perform well. This means quality work, meeting deadlines, following instructions, regular attendance.
• At the end of each year, your performance will be evaluated. If it is good, your contract may be renewed for another year, until the maximum of 5 years total (initial + up to 4 extensions).
• If performance is not satisfactory, or if work not required, your contract may not be renewed.

Rules about taxes, secrecy, and legal obligations

• Taxes will be deducted at source.
• You must sign a declaration of secrecy / Non-Disclosure Agreement.
• You must follow rules for conduct, confidentiality.
• You must observe BISAG-N’s IP policy: work you do is for BISAG-N; BISAG-N owns rights.

BISAG-N Young Professional Scheme 2025

The BISAG-N Young Professional Scheme 2025 is a special program by the Government of India to provide jobs and training to young people.
