Salary and Allowances

Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have completed Matriculation (10th Class) or its equivalent from a recognized board.

BSF Sports Quota 2025 Recruitment Criteria
Candidates must have an outstanding record in sports and must fulfill any of the following conditions:
- International Level Participation
- Sportspersons who have participated or won medals in International Sports Events recognized by the International Olympic Committee as a member of the Indian team during the last 2 years from the closing date of the advertisement.
- National Level Achievements
- Players who have won medals in National Games/ National Championships/ National Open Championships recognized by the Indian Olympic Association or the respective Sports Federations.
- The event must be held between 21/08/2023 to 20/08/2025.
- Junior National Level Participation
- Candidates who have participated or won medals in Junior National Level Championships or tournaments recognized by the concerned sports federations during the period 21/08/2023 to 20/08/2025.
- Team Events (International/National)
- For team events, the sportsperson should have won a medal in National Games/ National Championships (Junior or Senior level) or any recognized sports meet organized by the respective Federation/Association recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports or the Indian Olympic Association during 21/08/2023 to 20/08/2025.
- The candidate must be a playing member of the team while representing the State/UT/ Sports Control Board.
- However, this condition does not apply to medals won in international tournaments.
Age And Relaxation
- Candidates must be between 18 to 23 years as on 1 August 2025.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.
Application Fee to Apply
- Male candidates belonging to General (UR) and OBC categories are required to pay ₹147.20/- (Rupees One Hundred Forty-Seven and Paise Twenty) as the application fee.
- The fee must be paid through the BSF Recruitment website: https://rectt.bsf.gov.in.
- Female candidates and candidates from SC/ST categories are exempted from the fee.
