CAT 2025 correction window did not open, so wait for the Admit Card on November 5
CAT 2025 admit card: The admit card for the exam on November 30, IIM will release on its official website. The candidates were waiting for the application correction window but that did not open.
Now the IIM will release the admit card on November 5 and it will be available to download till exam day. Candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official CAT website iimcat.ac.in using their login credentials (User ID and Password). The admit card will be available for download until the exam day, November 30, 2025, till exam day
The admit card contains important details such as the candidate’s name, registration number, exam center address, reporting time, exam date, and allotted exam slot. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid government-issued photo ID to the exam center. If there are any errors on the admit card, candidates must contact the IIM CAT helpdesk for corrections before the exam date.

To download the CAT 2025 admit card from iimcat.ac.in, follow these steps:
- Visit the official CAT 2025 website: iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the “Registered Candidate Login” or “Login” tab on the homepage.
- Enter your User ID (Registration ID) and Password to log in. Use the “Forgot Password” option if needed.
- After logging in, find and click on the “Download Admit Card” link or button on your dashboard.
- View and verify all the details on the admit card including your name, exam date, test center, and photograph.
- Download the admit card as a PDF file and save it on your device.
- Take at least two clear printouts of the admit card for the exam day.
Carry your printed admit card along with a valid photo ID proof on the exam day.
Correction in the Admit Card
Some candidates might encounter this following problem in their admit card, we have suggested few details that you must follow to correct.
To correct errors on the CAT 2025 admit card, candidates need to follow this process:
- Contact the CAT Helpdesk immediately via email or phone using official contact details provided on the CAT official website iimcat.ac.in.
- Provide your registration details such as registration number, full name, date of birth, and email ID for verification.
- Submit supporting documents as proof for corrections:
- For name or photograph errors: a government-issued ID or recent photo.
- For PwD status or scribe-related issues: submit relevant certificates or affidavits.
- Once the correction is out, download the corrected admit card and verify all details promptly.
Though all these corrections are made when the application correction window opens. But the IIM did not believe in that it would directly release your admit card. Candidates can log in to iimcat.ac.in, access their application, make corrections, and save changes.
For major errors not covered in the correction window, candidates are advised to contact the CAT helpdesk immediately to avoid exam day issues. It’s crucial to act quickly as correction opportunities are limited.
CAT 2025 Result
The CAT 2025 result is expected to be released in January 2026 if all go well. Each IIM releases the offer letter to the selected candidates. The process does not end here each IIM will conduct their next process of selecting the candidate
