CBIC Guwahati Sports Quota Recruitment 2025 starts. The application form opened today for recruitment of Tax Assistant and Havaldar from all 65 sports. There is 1 post for Tax assistant and 10 posts for Havaldar. The eligibility,mode of selection is available for the candidates.

Application Dates

• Offline applications are accepted from 23 August to 13 September 2025 for the CBIC Guwahati Sports Quota Recruitment 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Tax Assistant

 Degrees from the recognized University or equivalent. 2) Should have basic knowledge in the use of computer applications. 3) Should possess a data entry speed ofnot less than 8000 key depressions per hour.

Note: The speed of 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work is to be judged by conducting a speed test on the Electronic data processing machine.

Havaldar

Matriculation or eqrrivalent frorn any recogrized Board. Note: Candidates will be required to possess the physical standards and pass physical tests as specified in the new Recruitrnent Rules.

For Male Candidates:- Physical standard (minimum) Height – 157.5 Cms (relaxable by 5 Crns in the case of Garhwalis, Assarnese, Gorkhas and mernbers of the Schedule Tribes) Chest-8 lCms (fully expanded with minimum expansion of SCms)

 Physical Test: Walking- 16OO Meters in1 Sminutes For Fernale Candidates:-

Physical standard (minimum) Height – 152 Crns ; Weight 48 Kgs. (Height relaxable by 2.5 Crns and weigtrt by 2 Kgs. in the case of Garhwalis, Assarnese, Gorkhas and rnernbers of the Schedule Tribes) Physical Test: Walking-1 km in 2ominutes.

• Required qualification: For the post of Hawaldar, candidates must be Matriculate or equivalent.
• Age Limit: 18  to 27 years (relaxable up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST, and for exceptional achievements up to 5 years for general and 10 years for SC/ST, provided all other qualifications are met).

Selection Criteria

• The eligible candidates will have to appear in the field test relevant to the Sports discipline. Success in the above tests confers no right to appointment unless the department is satisfied.
• After such an enquiry as may be considered necessary that the candidate is suitable in all respects for appointment to the post.If candidates exceed the number of posts, field trials will be conducted

Available Posts

• Recruitment is mainly for the post of  Tax Assistant and Hawaldar. The total recruitment in each sport/game will not exceed 20% (3 posts) of the vacancies advertised.
