The CBSE has released the date sheet for class X and Class XII yesterday on 24 September for the exam scheduled next year 2026. The exam of both is starting from February 17 and this exam process will be over for class X in March 2026. They should be ready for the next exam which is a second exam that is starting for class X in may 2026.

True the CBSE board exam date may clash with JEE Main exam as the JEE Main exam starts in the last week of January. We will wait who adjusts the date it is CBSE or NTA

Class XII Exam

It will start from February 17 and will be over by April 9. There is no mention of conducting the Class XII exam two times. It may happen that since the JEE Main Exam starts in the last week of January and another session starts in April.

It will be important to check how the dates finalises further when NTA announces the JEE Main Exam dates.

We can say that is why the CBSE has released the tentative date sheet, and this is not the final date sheet. The CBSE will release its final date sheet in due course of time.

Mid Term Exam

The Mid Term exam will take place in individual school as the CBSE has released the guidelines to these schools. This will be taking place in September and October 2025.
