Step 1: User Account Creation

The first step in any online application is to create your user account on the recruitment portal. Think of this as your personal profile that stores your details and helps you apply for jobs later.

While creating your account, you must provide accurate information. Once you enter and submit these details, you cannot change them later. That’s why it is very important to fill Step-1 carefully. Details is given Below Table:

Full NameEnter your full name exactly as written on your Matriculation (Class 10) Certificate. Do not use short forms or nicknames.
Father’s NameSame as printed in your Class 10 certificate.
Mother’s NameSame as printed in your Class 10 certificate.
GenderSelect Male, Female, or Others.
Date of BirthEnter your date of birth as per the certificate. Be very careful because this will decide your eligibility.
Mobile NumberEnter a valid mobile number that you use regularly. You will receive OTPs, updates, and alerts on this number.
Email IDProvide a working email address. Check it frequently for updates.
Valid Government ID ProofChoose any one ID such as Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, or PAN card.

Step 2: Filling Detailed Profile Information

After creating your account, you will receive a Reference Number and Password. Using these details, you can log in again and complete your profile.

In Step 2, you must provide more detailed information about yourself, your education, and upload the required documents. Lets know What process we will follow:

Personal DetailsCategory/Community – Choose General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, etc. Sub-Category – For example, PwD (Persons with Disability), Ex-Serviceman, etc.
Educational DetailsBasic Qualification – SSC (Class 10), HSC (Class 12), Diploma, Graduation, or Post-Graduation. Fill the passing year, marks/grade, and board/university details.  
Uploading DocumentsYou will also need to upload scanned copies of documents. Make sure they are clear and within the specified file size/format. The common uploads are: Recent passport-size photograph Signature Caste certificate (if applicable) PwD certificate (if applicable) Discharge certificate (for Ex-Servicemen) Educational certificates (SSC, HSC, Diploma, Degree, etc.) Scribe declaration form (if applicable)  
Final Submission of ProfileAfter filling everything, click on the Submit Profile button. Your detailed profile will now be saved

Step 3: Applying for Posts and Paying Fees

Once your profile is ready, you can apply for one or more posts. by follow below steps:

  1. Login using your Reference Number and Password.
  2. Select the post(s) you are eligible for.
  3. Read the post details carefully, including eligibility and exam fee.
  4. Pay the application fee online using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.

Many candidates make small mistakes in their application form. To solve this issue, the recruitment authority provides a Modification Window after the application process closes.

But there are certain rules. Let’s understand them clearly.

What Cannot Be Changed?

  • The details entered in User Account Creation) cannot be changed at all. I have mentioned in Step -1. Detail included in Below Line:
  • So, your Name, Parents’ Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Govt. ID Proof are final once submitted.

What Can Be Changed?

  • Some details entered in Step 2 can be modified, except a few restricted fields.
    1. Category/Community (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.)
    2. Sub-Category (PwD, Ex-Serviceman, etc.)
  • Other personal, educational, or uploaded documents can also be corrected.

Correct Mistakes In Different Post

  • For each post you applied to, you can modify the details by paying the modification fee separately.

CCRAS Group A B C 2025 Modification Fees and Process

  • Modification Fee – Rs. 250 per attempt.
  • In one modification attempt, you can change multiple fields.
  • But if you submit changes, make payment, and later realize another correction is needed, you must pay Rs. 250 again.
  • Similarly, for modifying profile information, the same Rs. 250 fee applies.

How to Pay the CCRAS Group A B C 2025 Modification Fee?

  • Log in to the portal.
  • Select the option to modify details.
  • Make changes.
  • Proceed to payment page and pay Rs. 250 online.
  • After successful payment, submit your modified form again.

Modification Window is Helpful?

Yes, Many candidates worry when they realize they made a mistake. Earlier, there was no way to correct it. But now, with the Modification Window, you can:

  • Correct spelling errors.
  • Upload the correct documents.
  • Change category/sub-category to claim reservation benefits.
  • Update details for each post.

Although you have to pay Rs. 250 for each attempt, it is still better than having your application rejected.
