Chhattisgarh State Service Mains Exam 2024 will be on 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th June 2025. The admit card for the same will be released 10 days before the exam on the official website. Candidates must note that no alert or prior information is sent to their mobile or email ID regarding this.
Selection Process
- The exam is the second stage after the Prelims (held on 9th February 2025). Only candidates who qualified in the Prelims can appear for the Mains.
- After the Mains, shortlisted candidates will be called for the Interview/Personality Test.

Chhattisgarh State Service (CGPSC) Mains Exam 2024: Exam Pattern
- The Mains consists of seven papers, each of 200 marks, all descriptive/conventional.
- Papers include:
- Paper I: Language
- Paper II: Essay
- Paper III: General Studies I
- Paper IV: General Studies II
- Paper V: General Studies III
- Paper VI: General Studies IV
- Paper VII: General Studies V
- Each paper is of 3 hours duration.
- Total marks for Mains: 1400; Interview: 100 marks; Grand Total: 1500 marks
