CTET 2026 application Fee – Registration Process @ ctet. nic.in
The official notification has come from CBSE that there will be no exam in December 2025,The exam date has is clear this will be conducted in February 2026. So when the application form opens. Though no confirmation has come on the date but we are expecting this should star in December 2025
The registration will be online at the official CTET website (ctet.nic.in). You will be able to fill out the form, upload documents, and pay the exam fee after the notification is live.

Payment Methods
- Online Payment: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- Offline Payment: E-Challan (deposit fee in the designated CTET Exam Fee Account at Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank).
Steps for E-Challan Payment
- Fill and submit the CTET online application form at ctet.nic.in, and move to the payment step.
- Choose “E-Challan” as your payment mode before final submission.
- After selecting E-Challan, a system-generated challan will come out for either Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
- Print the generated challan.
- Visit your chosen syndicate bank branch with the printed challan.
- Deposit the prescribed application fee amount at the bank counter. The bank will process your payment and return a signed copy of the challan as receipt.
- Log back into the CTET portal using your registration credentials.
- Enter the transaction number and details provided on the bank-stamped challan to confirm your payment online.
- Download and save the confirmation page for future reference and proof
- This method may take 1-2 business days for payment confirmation.
- Keep the original bank-validated challan slip safely; it may be required for any future exam-related queries
As the exam date is out.The CTET 2026 exam will be on 8 February 2026 (Sunday), as officially announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The notification and detailed Information Bulletin containing eligibility, syllabus, exam fee, cities, and other critical details will be available soon on the official CTET website (ctet.nic.in).
Exam Date and Format
- This is the 21st edition of CTET on 8 February 2026, in offline (pen-paper) mode across 132 cities in India, in 20 different languages.
- The exam features two papers:
- Paper I: For teaching Classes I to V.
- Paper II: For teaching Classes VI to VIII.
- Both papers will be in two shifts on the same day.
- Each paper consists of 150 objective-type questions for 150 marks, with no negative marking.
Eligibility, Application, and Notification
- Eligibility criteria, syllabus, fee structure, and a list of exam centers will be provided in the detailed Information Bulletin, expected to be published shortly; applicants should refer only to official sources for accurate information.
