What is Board of Examining Authority
The Board of Examining Authority (BEA) in Karnataka is a specialized body under the Drugs Control Department, Government of Karnataka, responsible for conducting Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) examinations

Conducts exams at the end of first- and second-year D.Pharm courses.
Handles administrative tasks like admissions, valuations, tabulation, and certification through its Member Secretary
The duration of the course shall be for two academic years with each academic year spread over a period of not less than one hundred and eighty working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months.

There are 60 seats in government colleges and 4000 seats in private institutions
Yes the application fee is Rs.600 for Karnataka Student and for Non Karnataka Students it is Rs.1500
The board will conduct counselling for distribution of seats in the state. First preference will be for karnataka students and rest of the seats will be for Non Karnataka students
