• Entrance Test: FTII-ET-2024-25 (Stage 1: Written Test, Stage 2: Assessment/Interview)
• Application Fee:
  • ₹1500 (General/OBC/EWS, one course)
  • ₹2500 (General/OBC/EWS, two courses)
  • ₹500/₹800 (SC/ST/PwD/Female, one/two courses)
• Exam Centres: 26 cities across India, including Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, etc.

FTII is accepting applications for its MFA (Cinema) and One-Year PG Certificate TV programmes for 2025-26. The entrance exam is on July 27, 2025, and the last date to apply is July 11, 2025. Merit List

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of cumulative performance in Stage-1 and Stage-2 with 30% and 70% weightage, respectively, subject to fulfillment of the terms and conditions mentioned in the prospectus.

Mode of Stage-1

• Paper I: Objective Type question paper
• Paper II: Subjective Type question paper

Mode of Stage-2

1. This stage will comprehensively evaluate candidates’ overall suitability for the program using diverse methods
2. Stage 2 will be conducted at the FTII Pune campus
3. Candidates will make their own arrangements for travel, accommodation, and meals for the duration of Stage-2 assessment.
4. The weightage of Stage 2 in the overall selection process will be 70%.
