GLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need a BPharm degree (including lateral entry) or equivalent from a recognized university, with final-year students also eligible. Indian nationals can apply with no upper age limit.
Who cannot apply?
B.E./ B.Tech. (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology)/ equivalent candidates are not eligible to appear in GPAT 2025.
Application Process
- Complete user registration to generate your User ID/Application ID and Password, sent via SMS and email. Fill out the application form, upload your photograph, scanned signature, thumb impression, and required documents. Select your test city, pay the exam fee, agree to the declaration, submit the form, and print the application with transaction ID and “S” (Successful) payment status for records.Key documents: Class X/XII marksheets, Aadhaar/PAN/ID proof, category certificate (if applicable).

Essential Documents
- Class 10th and 12th mark sheets/certificates.
- BPharm mark sheets (all semesters available).
- Valid ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport, etc.).
- Scanned passport-size color photograph (JPG/JPEG, 10-200 KB or up to 500 KB).
- Scanned signature (JPG/JPEG, 4-30 KB or 10-500 KB).
Additional Items (if applicable)
- Category/caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
- PwD certificate (50-300 KB, if applicable).
- Proof of date of birth, address, or name (e.g., birth certificate).
A valid email ID, mobile number, and payment method (net banking/credit/debit card/UPI) are also needed for registration.
GPAT follows a computer-based test format with multiple-choice questions.

Marking Scheme
Each correct answer awards 4 marks, while 1 mark deducts for incorrect responses; unattempted questions carry no penalty. The paper is in English only, conducted once yearly by NBEMS.
GPAT qualifying scores vary by category and year, based on percentiles set by NBEMS.
Category-Wise Qualifying Percentiles
General/EWS candidates need the 50th percentile, SC/ST/OBC require the 45th percentile, and PwBD candidates need the 40th percentile.

Answer key
The NBE will display provisional answer key after the exam is over and seek challenges if any. The candidate who want to challenge the answer key will pay Rs.200
How to challenge the answer key?
Candidates will log on to their dashboard of NBE and Select the “Challenge Answer Key” or “Objection” section, choose the specific question(s) by ID, provide justification with supporting documents, and pay a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question via online mode
GPAT 2026 Result
The result will be declared 4 days after the exam and will be in pdf format. The GPAT 2026 score card will be available later and is shared with the concerned institutions also
Counselling
The seats will be allotted through counselling process. The dates will be out by the PCI for central institutions and state colleges and university separately. Candidates will register for the counselling
