Guwahati University PGET Admission 2025-26: Application Open

Guwahati University PGET Admission 2025-26: Students from different states of the country can apply for the traditional and interdisciplinary programmes of Gauhati University, and reservation criteria will be applicable as per the guidelines of the Government of Assam and Gauhati University. Those students who are interested and eligible can apply through the official website of the Guwahati University https://admissions.gauhati.ac.in/. The application is going on from 21 June, 2025, and the last date of applying is 1^st July, 2025.

Important Dates of Guwahati University PGET Admission 2025-26

• Online application started: 21 June, 2025 (5 PM onwards)
• Last date of the application: 1 July, 2025 (11:59 PM onwards)
• Admit card release date: 5 July, 2025 (5 PM onwards)
• PGET exam dates: 10, 11 and 12 July, 2025
• Provisional rank list published: 29 July, 2025
• Admission to traditional subjects: 5 August, 2025
• Admission to interdisciplinary subjects: 6 August 2025
• Classes will start: 7 August, 2025

Application Fee

• One Programme: ₹800
• Two Programme: ₹1600
• Three Programme: ₹2400

Selection Process of Guwahati University PGET Admission 2025-26

• It is mandatory for all the students to appear in PGET-2025.
• Selection will be based on the marks of the entrance exam only.
• Admission will be granted provisionally till the students produce the original certificates, documents to the concerned department.

How to Apply to Guwahati University PGET 2025?

1. Please visit the official website of Guwahati University admissions.gauhati.ac.in
2. Register yourself on the online portal.
3. Fill the application form for the respective postgraduate course (up to 3 subjects can be applied for – 1 traditional + 2 interdisciplinary).
4. After filling out the application form, check it carefully and upload the documents if required.
5. Pay the application fee.
6. The form will be valid only after the application fee.
7. Now, click on the submit button and proceed.
8. After taking a printout of the application form for future reference.
