ICAI CA September result 2025- The September exam is over for both Inter and final result. Candidtes are waiting for the result. The result will take its time. There are expected dates for the results of the CA Inter and Final exams
- CA Intermediate (Inter) Result September 2025: If everything goes well, the result can come in mid-to-late October 2025. However, some sources suggest it may be in the last week of October or the first week of November 2025.
- CA Final Result September 2025: The trends show the result to be out in the first week of November 2025, tentatively around 6th November 2025 at 8:30 AM.

How much score is needed to qualify for the exam?
That is a big question. We have given the percentage of marks that a candidate must score to qualify for the exam. You should not forget that the exam is set tough, so very few candidates can qualify for the exam. You can check the percentage required to qualify for the exam.
Passing Criteria
- Minimum 40% marks in each paper.
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks in each group (i.e., at least 200 out of 400 for each group of 4 papers, or at least 150 out of 300 for each group of 3 papers under the new 6-paper scheme).
- If a student scores 60 marks or more in any paper, that paper becomes exempt for the next three attempts, and only the remaining papers must be cleared to pass the group.
CA Final Passing Criteria
- The same rules apply: minimum 40% in each paper and 50% aggregate in a group.
The figure says that a candidate will only be declared “qualified” for a group if both conditions are satisfied in the same attempt.
Qualifying percentage-: To qualify in both the CA Intermediate and Final exams, a candidate must score at least 40% marks in each paper and at least 50% aggregate marks in each group in a single attempt.
Let us understand with an example, in a group of 3 papers (100 marks each), a candidate needs a minimum of 40 in each paper and a total of 150 out of 300 in that group to pass.
