What is ISA ET?
ISA Eligibility Test (ET) is an online examination conducted only under the ISA 3.0 syllabus (the older ISA 2.0 syllabus is now discontinued). It is meant for Chartered Accountants who have completed Professional Training (PT) and meet ICAI’s eligibility requirements.
- Typically 150 minutes duration, held on the ICAI Digital Learning Hub (DLH) platform.
- Minimum requirement: Complete PT, hold active ICAI membership, complete face registration before the test.
- Passing marks: Generally 50% or as prescribed by ICAI.
- First attempt is usually free; a fee is charged for reattempts.
- Face registration is mandatory prior to the exam.
- Questions are multiple-choice.
- A mock test is usually conducted beforehand to familiarize candidates with the format.
What is ISA AT?
ISA Assessment Test (AT) is the final exam possible after qualifying ET. It’s a computer-based test, usually comprising 200 multiple-choice questions and taken at designated centers across India. The current exam fee is Rs.. 500 for second attempt, there is no fee for first attempt.
