IGNOU fresh admissions for January 2026 session opened on December 16, 2025, covering UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate, and PhD programs in ODL and online modes.To apply candidates will log on to the samarth portal and check the guidelines.
Registration process is on for next semester and will close on 15 January though the dates keep extending but it is advisable to register before the last date
IGNOU Fresh Admission Dates
- Application start: December 16 2025
- Last date: January 31, 2026 (with possible extensions)
- Re-registration: Starts December 1, 2025
- Apply at: ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in or ignou.ac.in.
Eligibility & Fees
- UG: 10+2 passed
- PG: Bachelor’s with 45-50% marks
- Application fee: ₹300 (₹200 for some categories)
- No entrance for most; BEd/PhD have separate tests.
