DoMS IIT Roorkee MBA 2026-28: Eligibility, Golden Girl Scheme, Fees
Option (i): General Candidates
Bachelor’s degree or UGC-recognized professional qualification (any discipline) with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD).
Valid CAT 2025 score mandatory.
Final-year students eligible provisionally (must meet percentage/CGPA requirements by specified date).
Option (ii): IIT Graduates
- IIT graduates (admitted via IIT-JEE) with CGPA 7.0+ (10-point scale) are exempt from CAT 2025 requirement.
- Aggregate marks/CGPA from qualifying degree examination will be considered.
IIT Roorkee MBA “Golden Girl Scheme” – Direct Admission for Female Candidates
Eligibility
- First Rank holder (Gold Medalist) female candidates from an IIT or Institute/University ranked in Top 50 (overall category) in the most recent NIRF rankings.
Key Benefits
- Exemption: No requirement for All-India Level Exam (CAT).
- Other Requirements: All Minimum Eligibility Qualifications (MEQs) as per institute policy still apply.

- Supernumerary seats (additional to regular intake).
Note: Appearing candidates in qualifying degree are not eligible under this scheme.
IIT Roorkee MBA Full-Time Sponsored Candidates Eligibility
Work Experience Requirement
Minimum 2 years full-time experience in a responsible role in relevant field.
Eligible Organizations
- Registered Firm/Company/Industry/Educational & Research Institution/Govt./Quasi-Govt./Autonomous Body.
- Public Sector: PSU or public limited company listed on stock exchange.
- Private Sector: Annual turnover > ₹5 Crores (past 2 years).
- Educational Institutions: AICTE/UGC/Competent Authority recognized.
Note: Sponsorship from employer mandatory for admission.

Interview Locations
Offline interviews scheduled at Roorkee, Greater Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. Candidates select preferences, but final venue may differ from top choice.
